ESCO® INTRODUCES NEW SLIM PROFILE ULTRALOK® ASSEMBLY NEW U60 Adapter and Wear Cap for Wheel Loaders
Designed for safety and ease-of-use, the new Ultralok® U60 point and adapter assembly was developed specifi cally for 75-110 ton class wheel loaders. The system features a wear cap that slides onto the adapter and is retained by the tooth, eliminating the need for any tools or retainers. The low profile styling promotes material flow for highly efficient digging cycles. In addition, the wear cap is cast in an ESCO® alloy proven to withstand both high impact and abrasion that extends adapter life and significantly reduces maintenance costs. Ultralok® is an advanced and cost-effective tooth system which responds to users' needs when operating their machines in any conditions. As opposed to the three-component systems (tooth - adapter - safety lock) used in the past, Ultralok® has the lock directly integrated into the tooth, whereby enhancing safety of handling, reducing the need of other tools and allowing replacement in the field without using a hammer and in a swift and simple manner.
