How to care for a rubber track so it lasts as long as possible?

• always ensure correct track tension according to the machine's manual
• regularly check and, in the case of excessive wear, replace other undercarriage parts in time (track and carrier rollers, idlers and sprockets); they have a major influence on track service life
• avoid working on rocky surfaces and driving over demolition material, as it can destroy the track
• if the rubber surface of the track becomes contaminated with oil, clean it immediately
• minimise the effect of sunlight on rubber tracks as much as possible
• clean the track and other undercarriage parts regularly. If material accumulates in the undercarriage area, it will restrict the correct function of the idler wheel and can tear the track
• avoid rapid turning and sharp changes of driving direction, especially on uneven terrain
