Since work with bulldozers in mining and on construction sites is among the most demanding operations, ESCO® has developed cast dozer cutting edges for bulldozers. They are available for most models of popular brands CAT® and Komatsu® over 280 hp (from CAT® D8 and Komatsu® D155 size upwards). Cast dozer cutting edges are designed to match every model and meet the requirements for ensuring ideal performance.

How do cast dozer centre and corner cutting edges differ?

Unlike standard rolled steel cutting edge versions, where bolt holes and bevels are machined, the shape of ESCO® castings, including the cutting edge and holes, is formed when the metal is poured into the mould. This process allows the use of a resistant hardened alloy and the addition of steel where it is needed.
