The demolition balls we supply are made of cast steel with excellent service life, helping to reduce overall operating and production costs. When breaking up rocks larger than the crusher's inlet opening at a quarry, you can simply use the energy of the ball dropping from height onto the rock, or alternatively let the rock drop onto the ball. They find their use particularly in quarries and also when breaking up large pieces of hardened slag in blast furnace operations.
It is a simple, cost-effective alternative to hydraulic hammers, which can be used even during short breaks when the excavator is not loading, eliminating the time needed to mount and dismount a hammer. During operation, no vibrations or impacts are transmitted to the machine's boom, which has a positive effect on its service life.
For easy and efficient work with a demolition ball, we also manufacture custom-fitted buckets, sized to its diameter for precise guidance and position control. These buckets are reinforced where needed and provide the maximum possible service life.
We offer balls in several sizes and weight categories; we are happy to advise on the selection.
