The rubber tracks we offer come from Bridgestone, a Japanese manufacturer holding international ISO 9001/2000 (quality management system) and ISO 14001 (environmental care) certifications. The company was founded in 1931 and has grown into the largest manufacturer of rubber products, with 179 production plants in 25 countries. It is known for its achievements in research and development. Many years of experience, laboratory testing, its own rubber track test track, and numerous innovations guarantee excellent performance and long service life.

Bridgestone rubber tracks are now available in two variants. The Tri-Tech design is generally fitted to new machines at the original manufacturing stage. The Core-Tech version answers customer demand for a replacement part for older mini excavators and other machines with a tracked undercarriage.

The following technologies meet both the requirement for the greatest possible environmental friendliness and for unique quality of products designed for the undercarriages of mini excavators, loaders, tractors, pavers and many other machines.

Rubber Compounds

To guarantee increased performance, several unique rubber compounds are used in track manufacturing.

No-Wave Cable

Designed and manufactured exclusively for Bridgestone rubber tracks, this cable features:

  • high strength and maximum durability
  • high flexibility for energy savings
  • resistance to pressure and stretching
  • a braid that reduces the risk of corrosion

Pro-Edge™

Protection is provided by a forged steel side edge, optimally shaped to reduce pressure. Its advantages are:

  • special wear-resistant rubber resistant to cutting and tearing
  • a patented profile resistant to damage from sharp edges (US patent no. 6106083)

Spiral Technology

The spiral arrangement of the previously introduced non-wave cables is a way to ensure:

  • high speed and performance in use
  • perfect tension distribution when tensioning
  • zero change in pitch
  • precise circumferential length
  • perfectly even transfer of traction force

Interlocking Embeds

Interlocking inserts:

  • provide greater lateral rigidity
  • prevent the track from slipping even when tension is released

Tapered Core Metals

The tapered shape of the metal internal lugs minimises the vertical movement of the track rollers, thereby improving ride comfort.

Recommendations for ensuring the maximum service life of rubber tracks:

Bridgestone has extensive experience in developing and testing rubber tracks. For the track to be used to its best advantage, certain operating principles need to be followed. The most important include:

  • correct track tensioning throughout the entire period of operation is of great importance
  • follow the machine's manual, or find out more from the rubber track supplier
  • regularly check other undercarriage parts (sprockets, rollers, idlers)
  • wear and defects on these components can significantly reduce the track's performance and service life
  • avoid using the machine with a rubber track on a surface with sharp stones or metal edges
  • keep fast, sharp turning manoeuvres or pivot turns to a minimum
  • make sure that foreign objects do not get into the undercarriage components
  • do not drive the track edge against walls, kerbs or stones
  • if oil or other lubricant gets onto the surface of the rubber track, clean it carefully. It can significantly reduce the quality of the rubber
  • if you store the machine for a long period, protect the tracks from sunlight and rain
